Dr. Jochen Zausch

Dr. Jochen Zausch holds a PhD in physics from the University of Mainz, Germany 2009. Afterwards he moved to the Fraunhofer-Institute for Industrial Mathematics in Kaiserslautern (Germany) to join the department for flow and material simulation. From the beginning he was involved in the activities to develop battery models for lithium ion batteries. He is now in charge of the battery related research and industry projects and is responsible for the development of the simulation software “BEST” – the Battery and Electrochemistry Simulation Tool.
